Nagaland Police and Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), National Institute of Technology (NIT) Nagaland, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at Police Headquarters on October 10.
The agreement establishes a collaborative framework for the design and development of a Management Information System (MIS) tailored to the requirements of Nagaland Police.
The MoU was signed by Sandeep M. Tamgadge, Additional Director General of Police (L&O), on behalf of Nagaland Police, and Dr. Manoj E. Prabhakar, Registrar, NIT Nagaland. The police will provide functional requirements, access to relevant data, and administrative support for the MIS, and recognize NIT Nagaland’s contributions in official communications.
Dr. Nagaraju Baydeti said the institute is eager to provide expertise in system design, development, testing, consultancy, and training, while also offering students practical exposure and research opportunities.
The MoU, effective from the date of signing, will remain valid for three years, promoting innovation and improved public service delivery through science and technology.
