Nagaland: Power shutdown in Zunheboto

DIMAPUR

Power department has informed that there would total shutdown of power in areas under 66kV Zunheboto, 33kV Akuloto and 33kV NU Lumami feeders from 8am to 4pm on January 22, 2026 and 7am to 4pm on January 23, 2026.
In a press release, transmission division Mokokchung executive engineer Er. Hekaito Assumi informed that the shutdown was being necessitated to facilitate smooth execution of works for commissioning of New 132/33kV GIS Tuensang Sub-Station under NERPSIP.
The department has appealed to all public in the affected areas to extend cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
