In preparation for the upcoming 14-day Territorial Army Recruitment Rally, a joint team comprising officials from the Dimapur District Administration, Police, Traffic, PHED, Medical, and officers of the 113 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) Rajput conducted a comprehensive on-ground recce at Bhagat Stadium, Rangapahar, on November 10.
According to DIPR report, the recce covered the full candidate route from TCP Gate to the rally venue, with officials reviewing arrangements for crowd regulation, traffic control, safety barriers, and directional signage. Detailed inspections were carried out at marshalling and holding areas to ensure smooth documentation, batch formation, and movement into assessment zones.
At the rally site, teams assessed Physical Fitness Test (PFT) lanes, Physical Measurement and Medical screening areas, along with communication setups, water points, sanitation facilities, and waste management systems. The 113 Infantry Battalion (TA) Rajput has affirmed its readiness to host candidates from ten North Eastern States and West Bengal, reiterating its dedication to a disciplined and merit-based recruitment process.

  • Phase III (Nov 27–29): West Bengal (18 districts), Sikkim
    The civil–military team has encouraged eligible youth from Nagaland to participate in the ongoing multi-state recruitment rally.
