Nagaland PTC ward 11 poll results announced

Results of the election to Ward 11 (Zhipa) under Pfutsero Town Council (PTC), which was held on October 28, 2025 was declared on October 31. Between the two Independent contesting candidates, Krokulo Khutso who secured 315 votes constituting 54.40% of the total valid votes won by a margin of 51 votes against Tewu Mero who polled 264 votes, constituting 45.59%. Out of a total of 594 votes polled, there were 579 valid votes and 15 invalid cases.
A press release by SEC T. John Longkumer also informed that consequent upon the declaration of the results of the bye-election to Ward-11 (Zhipa) under Pfutsero Town Council and the completion of the election process, the Model Code of Conduct (MCC) which came into operation in Pfutsero Town Council area from the date of the Notification of the Election Programme shall cease to be in force with effect from the midnight of October 31, 2025.
