The Phek Village Citizens’ Union Phek Town (PVCUPT) held its get-together at Royal Foundation School premises, Phek town, on January 7.
Speaking on the occasion, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu MLA said that when a person is guided by the Bible, “things cannot go wrong or one will not be misled.” He added that once guided by the principles of the living word, habits and approaches to life would change, making one more honest and trustworthy, ultimately leading to success.
Highlighting that Phek village citizens comprise 504 households with a population of nearly 2500 in Phek town, Azo urged the community to set an example for others by spreading love, care and support, while remaining humble and grounded in Biblical teachings. He expressed happiness over the growing sense of unity and oneness among citizens, describing it as a positive sign for the future.
Dr. Kuvezochi Hoshi, general secretary and central office bearer of NPF, shared greetings, while exhortations were delivered by Nesucho Kezo and Khutsieyi Vero.
The programme was led by Vehuta Rhakho, with invocation by Dr. Vezhoto Soho. Special numbers were presented by Kuzhochiyi Soho and friends, Kuvetolu Venuh, Kushe Vero, and a special appearance was made by Lutsulu Hoshi.
Earlier, chairman’s remark was delivered by Vepasa Venuh, chairman PVCUPT. The vote of thanks was proposed by Khosapa Venuh, while prayer for the feast was pronounced by Kunusahu Vero.
