State government has notified that the name of the institution “Raj Bhavan, Nagaland” has been modified and renamed as “Lok Bhavan, Nagaland” with immediate effect.
In a notification, commissioner & secretary, Thavaseelan K, informed that Raj Bhavan, Nagaland would henceforth be referred to as “Lok Bhavan, Nagaland”.
The notification stated that renaming was made in pursuance of the communication received from the Ministry of Home Affairs and as per the approval of the Governor of Nagaland.
