The Railway Affected Landowners’ Association (RALOA) convened its 4th general meeting on January 24 at the Hotel Theja Fort Conference Hall. The meeting was attended by senior advisors, office bearers, executive members, and affected landowners.
According to a press release by RALOA president Khekaho Assumi and general secretary Hetokhu Awomi, the house adopted several key resolutions after thorough deliberations. The association was unanimously endorsed to take up any course of action on behalf of landowners regarding land-related issues with the State or Central Government.
The meeting also resolved to urge all railway-affected landowners currently residing outside Dimapur, or those not fully informed, to register with RALOA by January 31, 2026. Registrations can be completed at the RALOA office located at Railway Bazaar, House No. 26 during office hours.
