Nagaland: RALOA to hold general meeting on January 24

DIMAPUR

The Railway Affected Landowners’ Association (RALOA) has convened a general meeting on January 24 at 2 pm at the Conference Hall of Hotel Saramati to deliberate in detail on issues related to land acquisition by the Railways.
According to the association, the meeting is being held ahead of a scheduled meeting with the High Power Committee (HPC), with the aim of discussing the matter threadbare and formulating a collective stand.
In this regard, all members of RALOA have been informed to attend the meeting and contribute their valuable insights to help arrive at an amicable solution to the long-pending land-related issues between the Railways and the affected landowners.
RALOA has also expressed its gratitude to the Chief Minister of Nagaland, Dr.Neiphiu Rio, for granting audience to its representatives and taking serious cognizance of the prolonged land-related dispute under Dimapur Railways, and constituting a high-powered committee to address the issue at the earliest.
