Restriction on heavy vehicles along NH-29 lifted

Deputy Commissioner Kohima, B. Henok Buchem, has issued an order lifting the restriction on movement of heavy vehicles above 10 wheels along National Highway-29 with immediate effect.
The order, dated March 6, 2026, was issued in reference to a communication from the office of the Executive Director, NHIDCL, regarding the traffic-worthy condition of NH-29. The restriction, which had earlier been imposed, has now been withdrawn until further notice.
