Nagaland Rural Bank inaugurated the 13th branch at Longmatra Town under Kiphire district on April 14, 2025.
Speaking at the inaugural programme as chief guest, DC Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer spoke on the importance of banking sector in the area and encouraged the villagers to open their accounts to avail the facilities. He said farmers will be benefited from the bank as they can now avail KCC loan.
He further said it will be convenient for the people of Longmatra block as they will be able to carry out their financial transactions from their area without facing the hassle of going to Kiphire Hq. On the occasion of inaugurating the new branch, the bank also sanctioned two CMMFI loans and cheques were handed over to the beneficiaries.
The program was also attended by AGM NABARD, EAC Longmatra, NRB chairman, Village Councils of Longmatra Block, SHGs members and general public.
