The Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) will be holding its 64th Wrestling Meet 2026 on January 30 at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama.
The champion in senior category will receive a cash prize of Rs. 80,000. The champion will also get a special award (plot of land measuring 100X100 sg.ft at Chumoukedima) from Tepuleho Pusa & family.
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th position holder will be awarded with Rs. 60,000, Rs. 40,000 and Rs. 20,000 respectively.
The losing quarter finalists will get Rs. 5000 each. In Under 15 category, the champion will receive a cash prize of Rs. 20,000 while 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners will get Rs. 15,000, Rs. 10,000 and Rs. 7000 respectively.
The losing quarter finalists will get Rs. 2000 each. The cash prizes for both senior and Under 15 category is sponsored by V&V Club Kohima.
Superintendent of Police Kohima, Krodi Rhetso and president Southern Angami Public Organization, Er. Tepul Hopovi, will grace the meet as the inaugural guest and closing guest respectively. The meet will be managed by Southern Angami Catholic Union.
