Nagaland: SASU conducts surprise ‘Expire Free Awareness Drive’

Seyochung Area Students Union (SASU) carried out a surprise “Expire Free Awareness Drive” across all villages under Seyochung Area with the objective of safeguarding public health and ensuring community safety.
In a press release, SASU informed that prior to the drive, all unit presidents were directed to extend full cooperation. The teams conducted strict checking of shops and establishments to identify and remove expired products, maintaining zero tolerance towards negligence or non-compliance.
All Village Unions under Seyochung Area actively participated in the exercise, ensuring thorough inspections and discipline throughout the process. SASU stated that the drive was a serious step in the interest of public safety and welfare, and appealed to shopkeepers and the public to remain vigilant so that expired items are neither sold nor consumed in the future.
