Nagaland shines at 13th Jr National Pencak Silat C’ship

DIMAPUR, SEP 29 (NPN)

The Nagaland Pencak Silat Team has brought immense pride to the State by winning a total of five medals at the 13th Junior National Pencak Silat Championship, held from September 26 to 28, 2025 at the Koppal District Khelo India Excellence Centre, Karnataka.
In Tanding event, Reevan Jaishi bagged Silver Medal, Jerome Yeptho – Bronze Medal, Nito Tuccu- Bronze Medal.
In the Ganda event, Ashish Kumar Ray – Bronze Medal, Jerome Yeptho – Bronze Medal.
The team, led by coach Deep Kumar, showcased remarkable skill, determination and sportsmanship throughout the championship. Their achievement stands as a testament to the growing strength and recognition of Pencak Silat in Nagaland.
The Nagaland Pencak Silat Association extended its heartfelt congratulations to all the medal winners and participants. The association also acknowledged the tireless dedication of the athletes and their coach.
