Nagaland: Shops closure in Dimapur on Jan 26

DIMAPUR, JAN 21 (NPN)

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dimapur has informed that all markets and shops in Dimapur district would remain closed till 12noon on January 26, 2026, in view of Republic Day celebrations.
CP Dimapur declares no fly zone: In view of the ensuing Republic Day Celebration on January 26, 2026, the Commissioner of Police (CP) Dimapur Aotula T Imchen has temporarily declared the area within a radius of 2kms of Dimapur DDSC Stadium; Chumoukedima Samaguting Stadium and Niuland Public Ground as “Red Zone” (No Fly Zone) from 2am to 6pm of January 26, 2026.
CP Dimapur informed that no person would operate a Drone/ Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) in the Red Zone without prior permission of the competent authority.
