Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland conducted a Specialist Health Camp cum Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative under the SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels programme at Zisaji Presidency College (ZPC), Kiphire, on March 3.
The programme began with an awareness session chaired by Shangsela, Lab Technician, Nature SBI Foundation, Kiphire. Invocation was pronounced by Sister Atsala, president ZPC EU, while the vice principal of ZPC delivered the welcome address, appreciating the Foundation for extending free health services to remote areas like Kiphire. He also lauded Longtili C. Sangtam and his team for their outreach efforts.
Dr. Zioba Anar conducted a session on the “Importance of Oral Health Education,” stressing that oral health is vital for overall well-being. He cautioned against tobacco use, noting Nagaland’s high consumption rates, and urged students to avoid harmful habits. Sharing real-life cases, he highlighted the financial and health costs of tobacco addiction.
Project Lead of Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland, Longtili C. Sangtam, presented the achievements of February 2026. He informed that the Foundation had covered 24 villages, conducted 103 MOPDs, and reached 1,732 beneficiaries. A total of 399 lab tests were carried out, with eight referrals made. Sanitation and awareness drive were organised during the month. Materials were distributed by the Branch Manager of SBI Kiphire.
Session two featured a sanitation drive under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, while Session three included a Specialist Health Camp focusing on anemia screening among young adults, with 24 students screened.
