The Nagaland Badminton Association wrapped up the second phase of the Li-Ning 47th Nagaland State Sub-Junior & Masters Badminton Championship, held from September 30 to October 3 at the K. Kire IPS Indoor Stadium and Multi-Disciplinary Stadium in Sovima, Chümoukedima. The closing ceremony was graced by Advisor for Geology and Mining, W Chingang Konyak. The championship drew participation from all 17 districts of Nagaland, showcasing emerging talent in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles categories. The event was a vibrant celebration of athleticism, community spirit, and youth development.
In a gesture to encourage budding athletes, all Under-9 participants received gift hampers sponsored by Li-Ning. The event also included a felicitation ceremony for medalists and officials from the North East Zonal Inter-State Badminton Championship held in Agartala, Tripura.
