Nagaland Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd. (NHHDC), Dimapur will be organising the State Handloom Expo (Hathkargha Mela) from November 11 to 24, 2025 at Urban Haat, Dimapur. The event is sponsored by the Office of the Development Commissioner (Handloom), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.
Interested co-operative societies, producer companies, self-help groups (SHGs), federations, apex societies, handloom and handicrafts agencies—including silk weavers, jute artisans and Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) units—have been invited to apply for participation.
Applications along with detailed address, mobile number, bank account number with IFSC code, and a group photograph of the products to be displayed must be submitted to the Project Cell, NHHDC Ltd., Half Nagarjan, Dimapur, on or before November 7 during office hours.
Allotment of stalls will be free of cost. Participants will also be reimbursed lumpsum TA/DA and freight charges as per the prescribed NHDP guidelines.
