DIMAPUR: Fountain Club, Kohima, in collaboration with the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), has announced that the Nagaland State Level Spelling Bee Championship 2026 will be held tentatively on October 20 and 21, 2026 at the SCERT Office, Kohima.
According to the organisers, participation forms and terms and conditions for the 11th edition of the championship can be downloaded from www.fountainclub.in, www.morungexpress.com, and www.excellogics.co.in.
The competition is open to students from Classes 6 to 9. Each recognised educational institution in Nagaland may send two participants. Free food and lodging will be provided for spellers, with separate dormitory facilities for boys and girls. Accompanying teachers and parents may avail food and lodging on request at nominal charges. No travel allowance will be provided.
Attractive cash prizes and citations will be awarded to winners and participants. Awards include Champion, First Runner up, Second Runner up, Third Runner up, Young Speller Award, Promising Speller Award from the government schools (addition) and citations for all quarter finalists.
