DIMAPUR, OCT 4 (NPN): The Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) on Sunday unveiled the official logo of the Nagaland State & Para Games (NSPG) 2026, marking a new chapter for the state’s premier sporting event following its transition from the former Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic Games (NOPG).
In a press release issued by NOA media team informed that the newly launched identity reflects the themes of sport, inclusivity, Naga heritage and unity, and is guided by the Games’ motto, “One Torch. Many Talents. Stronger Together.”
At the centre of the logo is a torch and flame symbolizing unity, aspiration, progress and the spirit of sportsmanship. Encircling the torch are dynamic athlete figures representing various sporting disciplines, including a para-athlete in a wheelchair, highlighting the Games’ commitment to inclusivity, equality and representation.
The logo’s circular design signifies community, togetherness and the participation of athletes and contingents from all districts of Nagaland. Traditional Naga-inspired geometric motifs have also been incorporated into the design, reflecting the state’s rich cultural identity and heritage.
According to the NOA, the logo’s colour scheme carries symbolic significance. Naga Red represents courage, energy and passion; Hills Blue stands for tradition, stability and trust; Sun Yellow symbolizes aspiration, optimism and progress; Earth Green reflects nature, growth and resilience; Unity Purple signifies inclusivity, diversity and strength; while Flame Orange represents spirit, movement and achievement.
Together, the colours embody the diversity and vibrancy of the Games, as well as the collective spirit of the 17 district contingents expected to participate.
The motto “Stronger Together” forms the foundation of the NSPG 2026 identity, emphasizing unity among athletes, districts, sports disciplines and communities through healthy competition and shared achievement.
The Nagaland State & Para Games 2026, organised by the Nagaland Olympic Association, will be held from November 2 to 14, 2026, across Chümoukedima and Dimapur, bringing together athletes representing all 17 districts of the state.
The newly unveiled logo will serve as the official visual identity of the Games and will feature across all event-related communications, promotional materials and official platforms. The logo was designed by creative director of KAKI Marketing, Süngtirong Imchen.
