Nagaland State to observe Constitution Day

DIMAPUR

Principal Secretary & Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha, has informed that, along with the rest of the country, Nagaland will be celebrating Constitution Day on November 26 to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India.
The celebration will also mark the culmination of year-long programmes held under the theme “Hamara Samvidhan – Hamara Swabhiman.”
In this regard, the Principal Secretary & Home Commissioner has requested all Administrative Head of Departments (AHoDs) to issue instructions for organizing programmes in the directorates and district offices of their respective departments.
Departments have also been directed to upload videos of the mass preamble readings on the website www.constitution75.com, while reports of action taken are to be submitted by all Head of Departments to the Home Department positively.
