Nagaland: SVS celebrates Pre-Christmas

Spring Valley School (SVS) at Cheikye Village, Block 2 celebrated Pre-Christmas at its school premises on December 18.
The school counsellor Vikheli, who delivered the Christmas message on the occasion, spoke on the three main essence of Christmas, namely; love through giving, kindness, and peace on Earth and goodwill among men.
She reminded students and staff that Jesus is the greatest gift to mankind, to show kindness to the less fortunate during the festive season, and that the birth of Jesus was announced to the shepherds as “peace of Earth and goodwill among men.”
Other highlights of the programme were; opening prayer by Zuthunglo, Christmas dance performances from classes 1 to 9, song by Ishit, story recitation by Tokika, Christmas medley by teachers, and closing prayer by Asin.
The comperes for the programme were Veineihoi and Zorik.
