Nature SBI Foundation, in collaboration with the Seyochung Village Students’ Union (SVSU), organized an awareness camp and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative at Seyochung village on December 22.
Addressing the gathering, Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland, project lead, Longtili C. Sangtam, emphasized that cleanliness must be a top priority for a healthy life. He stressed that a clean environment was essential for the well-being of the community. He also explained the importance of segregating wet and dry waste and urged villagers to make proper use of public facilities such as toilets, dustbins, and other amenities. He urged everyone to take responsibility and ownership to maintain a better and cleaner environment.
SVSU, vice president, Aseli, expressed gratitude to Nature SBI Foundation Kiphire, Nagaland, for the meaningful initiative. He expressed gratitude for their support and welcomed the team. He also thanked the Foundation for donating useful materials to the village.
Evergreen Village Level Organization, NSRLM Sitimi Block, President, Tsikhasela, lauded the programme as a valuable opportunity to learn and work collectively towards building a cleaner and better village.
The initiative concluded with a strong message of cooperation and responsibility, reinforcing the importance of community participation in sustaining cleanliness and public welfare. The programme commenced with a prayer by Seyochung Village Baptist Lithro, youth pastor, Khumkise.
