Nagaland teacher adjudged best associate NCC officer in NE

Capt. Regina Razousinuo, ANO of St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Jakhama, was adjudged the Best Associate NCC Officer (Female) in entire North East Region for the year 2022-23 during the North East NCC Summit held at NCC Directorate NE Region, Shillong, on September 20, 2023.


According to a defence release, Meghalaya governor Phagu Chauhan felicitated associate NCC officers (ANOs), representing the North Eastern states under NER NCC Directorate.
Altogether, 16 teachers were awarded for their utmost sincerity, professionalism and exemplary service in NCC for the year 2022-23.


Lt Rokovinuo, ANO of Don Bosco College, Kohima, affiliated to 1 Nagaland Girls’ Battalion NCC, Kohima was also awarded the Best Associate NCC Officer (Female) for the state of Nagaland.


Flying Officer Wetshete Thopi of 1 Nagaland Air Squadron NCC received the Best Senior Wing ANO award in the SD category for the state of Nagaland. He is presently serving as the Dean of Students at Patkai Christian College.


Lt Gen Sanjay Mallik, GOC, 101 Area, Shillong, Maj Gen Gagan Deep, ADG, NCC Dte NER, Group Commanders of all NCC Groups of NCC Directorate, NER attended the summit.
