Nagaland team attends BJP all India mahila morcha conference

A BJP Mahila Morcha Nagaland team attended a two day All India Mahila Morcha Conference in Ahmedabad, Gujarat held from December 21 to 22.

A press release from BJP Mahila Morcha Nagaland stated that the Maha-Adhevishan was attended by more than 5000 women from all states of India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi graced the second day of the conference. He spoke on gender equality and women empowerment and assured the prople gathered that his Government was giving priority to parity between the genders. He said that women have an important role to play in the decision making process in India.
The Prime Minister also cited many examples of how his government had been bringing changes mentioning schemes and programs that had been implemented since the BJP came to power.
The release also mentioned that the team also visited Sardar Patel’s Statue of Unity in Narmada, Gujarat.
