Nagaland Theological College Association reaffirms mission-centric theological education

DIMAPUR

Nagaland Theological College Association (NTCA) convened its 22nd Annual General Conference from November 15 to 16, 2025, hosted by Servanthood Bible College with support from Logos College, United College of Theology and Mission, Immanuel Theological College & Seminary, and Mission International Graduate School of Missions.
The conference opened with an inaugural service on November 15, where Rev. Moses Murry, General Superintendent of the Assemblies of God of East India, delivered a message titled “The harvest is plentiful but the labourers are few.” Challenging theological graduates and institutions, he posed a critical question: “Thousands of students graduate every year, but where are they going?” His address urged a renewed commitment to calling and mission.
On Sunday morning, Dr. Imna Imchen, Associate Professor at Discipleship Bible College, presented a scholarly paper on the conference theme, which was responded to by Inato Aye, Assistant Professor at Mission International Graduate School of Missions.
Rev. Dr. Phuveyi Dozo, president of United College of Theology and Mission, delivered the Sunday devotional message on the theme “Mission from the Margins: Voices We Must Hear.” He emphasized that Scripture consistently uplifts the marginalized and called on theological institutions to resist the drift toward enrolment-driven priorities, urging a return to mission-focused education.
The conference also marked a transition in leadership, where a new team of office bearers led by Mhaletsolie Vilie as president, Dr. Otoka S and Vilakielie Kiewhuo as vice presidents, Zuchanbeni as assistant general secretary, Chubakumla as treasurer and Narka Awomi as Information & Publicity were inducted.
