
Shops in Dimapur to remain shut for 8 hours
Medical stores in State to shut for 10 hours
Trade bodies in the state including Dimapur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI), Nagaland Medical Dealers Association (NMDA) and Zunheboto Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ZCCI) Wednesday announced that they would join the “Bharat Vyapar Bandh” on February 26, 2021.
The nationwide bandh call has been given by Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT) demanding a review of the provisions of the goods and services tax (GST) regime.
In a press release, DCCI president Akashe Zhimomi directed the entire business establishment under its jurisdiction to close businesses on February 26, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. DCCI also informed the business community that volunteers would be deployed for strict compliance. It also requested the law enforcing agencies to take precautionary measure so no undue advantage was taken by anti-social element.
NMDA: Nagaland Medical Dealers Association (NMDA) informed that pharmacies and medicine dealers would remain closed on February 26, 2021 from 6 a.m.-4 p.m. NMDA through its joint secretary information & press media Arijit Sharma has appealed to the consumers to bear with the inconvenience and stand in solidarity with the business community.
ZCCI: Zunheboto Chamber of Commerce and Industries (ZCCI) informed that it would observe a shutter down of all business establishments from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. on February 26, 2021.In a press release, ZCCI president Y Kikheto Muru and joint secretary Vitoka V Achumi have requested all the members of business community to co-operate and support the bandh call.
ZCCI also appealed to all the responsible citizens of Zunheboto town to co-operate and bear with the inconveniences.
