In view of ongoing repair works at Doyang Bridge along the Wokha–Merapani Road, Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, has issued a travel advisory enforcing traffic restrictions from November 19 to 23. As per the order, movement of heavy commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, tipper trucks, dumpers, and tankers will be completely restricted during the period. Medium commercial vehicles such as mini trucks, buses, and excavators will also not be permitted to ply. However, light motor vehicles not exceeding pickup trucks—such as Mahindra Bolero Pik-Up, Tata Yodha, and Isuzu D-MAX—may be allowed to pass through the bridge.
