Nagaland: Traffic restrictions forKVYO cross country race

In view of the 67th Kohima Village Youth Organization (KVYO) cross country race scheduled to be held on January 16, 2026, from 12 noon to 2 p.m., traffic regulations will be enforced in Kohima town.
According to PRO of Kohima Police, during the event, traffic movement both up and down will be stopped from TCP Gate to Tinpatti until participants cross Tinpatti Junction. Subsequently, upward traffic will be halted from Old Tata Parking until runners pass through Kohima Village Gate Junction and enter Local Ground Khuochiezie.
Motorists and commuters have been advised to plan their journeys accordingly, use alternative routes during the restricted hours, and cooperate with traffic personnel on duty. Authorities emphasized that public cooperation is essential to ensure the safety of participants.
