Nagaland: UBCD celebrates 50 years

DIMAPUR

Union Baptist Church Dhansiripar (UBCD) celebrated its Golden Jubilee celebrations commemorating 50 years of service and ministry, on January 20 and 21, marked by special worship services, jubilee events, and unveiling of Jubilee Monolith, attended by church leaders, members, and invited guests.
A press release by UBCD stated that the celebration was held under the theme “Never-ending hope in a never-failing God” (Hebrews 13:5–6), with the jubilee celebration service led by pastor Chenirao Jungi, while main message was delivered by executive secretary, NPBCA, Rev. Dr. Tiatoshi Longkumer.
The release added that several prominent church leaders, including pastor Zanbemo Kithan and Luchie Thupitor, ministered during the programme.
The celebrations concluded with thanksgiving and praise to God for His faithfulness over five decades and a renewed commitment to continue the church’s mission in the years ahead.
