Nagaland Unclaimed dead body at DHD morgue

DIMAPUR

The Commissonerate of Police Dimapur has informed that on November 20, a telephonic information was received from District Hospital Dimapur that a male patient who was kept under their care since November 5 passed away naturally.
Accordingly, Police duty party went to the hospital and conducted inquest on the body of Lt. Atul Mech, 60yrs, S/o Lt. Oren Mech in presence of witnesses and no foul play was found.
The address of the deceased as recorded at the hospital is Railway colony, Dimapur.
However, despite several attempts, neither family nor relatives could be traced or located, the press note by Commissonerate of Police Dimapur, stated.
On completion of all legal formalities, the dead body is kept at District Hospital morgue for identification.
Commissonerate of Police Dimapur has further requested claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased to contact the Officer-in-charge. East Police Station, Dimapur. (Mobile number 7085055020)
