Nagaland: Unidentified body recovered near Central Jail, Diphupar

DIMAPUR

Police recovered an unidentified male body near Central Jail opposite Shamrock School, Diphupar village, in the early hours of February 9.
According to Dy. Commissioner of Police (Crime)/ PRO, a written memo was received at around 1:30 a.m. from a resident of Diphupar village informing about the discovery.
No visible injury marks were found on the body, and the cause of death could not be ascertained.
The deceased, estimated to be around 40 years old with a dark complexion, was wearing blue jeans, a black T-shirt printed with “I Love Pink”, a white hooded jacket, and a ring on his finger. After completion of legal formalities, the body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
