An unidentified body of a man, aged around 40-45 years, was found by Dimapur police at KM 259/8-259/9 near Sam Railway Bazaar on December 16, 2025. According to DCP (Crime)/PRO, upon receiving information, the duty party rushed to the spot and found the body.
The cause of death could not be ascertained but is suspected to be due to illness. After completion of all legal formalities, the body was shifted to District Hospital Dimapur morgue for post-mortem examination and identification. Claimants, relatives or friends of the deceased have been requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge, GRPS, Dimapur at 7085055021. The deceased was a wearing white trouser and dark Long Pant.
