Nagaland University announces Japanese language course

The Centre of Excellence for Foreign Languages, Department of Linguistics, Nagaland University (NU), Kohima Campus, has announced the launch of a Japanese Language Certificate Course aimed at enhancing employability and expanding career opportunities for youth.
According to a press release issued by NU PRO, the programme titled “Learn Japanese in Just a Few Months” is an initiative of the Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Government of Nagaland, and NU in collaboration with ARMS Incorporation, Japan.
The course will equip learners with practical proficiency in Japanese and provide structured pathways to employment opportunities in Japan as well as in Japanese companies operating in India. NU is offering Certificate Courses in Japanese (N5 & N4 levels) with subsidised fees and expert guidance. The programme also includes pre-interview training for placements and opportunities to work in Japan for up to three years.
Open to students, working professionals, and language enthusiasts with a minimum qualification of Class 10, the initiative seeks to empower youth with globally relevant skills and create international employment avenues through language proficiency and cultural orientation.
