Nagaland University faculty, scholars attend IPSA conference

Vice-Chancellor of Nagaland University, Prof. Jagadish K. Patnaik, along with Prof. Dasarathi Bhuiyan, HoD of Political Science, Associate Professor Dr. Shasanka Sekhar Pati and six PhD scholars from the Department of Political Science, participated in the 62nd All India Political Science Conference and International Seminar held at Kalinga Institute of Social Science (KISS), Bhubaneswar, Odisha on December 27–28.
The conference, organised by the Indian Political Science Association (IPSA), was held under the theme “We the People of Bharat” and witnessed the presence of Vice-Chancellors, senior professors and delegates from across the country.
During the two-day deliberations, scholars from Nagaland University presented research papers in various panels. The Executive Council of IPSA for the tenure 2026–2027 was also announced at the event, where Prof. Dasarathi Bhuiyan was elected as an executive member.
