Nagaland University hosts first-ever TT Championship at Lumami Campus

DIMAPUR, NOV 2 (NPN)

In a landmark initiative to foster sports culture and community engagement, the Nagaland University Students’ Union Lumami (NUSU-L) organized the first-ever Table Tennis (TT) Championship at the university’s Lumami campus on November 1. The event, held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, brought together students, faculty and staff in a spirited display of athleticism.
The championship featured competitions across three major categories—Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles for both male and female participants. Players demonstrated exceptional skill and sportsmanship throughout the matches, with winners and runners-up receiving cash prizes in recognition of their performance.
The event concluded with a valedictory programme graced by assistant professor of Political Science Dr. Monalisa Tase.
