
Nagaland University (NU), Lumami organised a “Quiz on Madhya Pradesh” on December 6 in the conference hall of the department of geography as part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) initiative of the government of India.
In a press release, Nagaland university informed that the programme was organised for 26 post graduate students who were part of the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club (NU) where eight students participated.
The questions and answers for the quiz was provided by Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, the partner university of Nagaland University for the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat activities. The quiz masters were assistant professor, deaprtment of law, Dr. Rumi Dhar and public relations officer (PRO) and nodal person, Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat Club, Peter Ki while the judge was assistant professor, department of forest science, Dr. Gyati Yam. During the competition, three students were adjudged as winners. Nongmei Phom from the department of zoology, Elizabeth from the department of EVS and Biman Gogoi from the department of botany were declared first, second, and third respectively. The prizes were handed by dean students’ welfare and convener, EBSB Club (NU), professor Wangshimenla Jamir.
