A joint meeting of Nagaland University Students bodies from NU Lumami, NU Meriema, SASRD, Medziphema and SET Dimapur was held on November 16, with professor Pradeshi Lal, vice-chancellor, NU in the VC’s chamber.
A press release by NUSU (L) information & publicity secretary, Suraj Kumar stated that the meeting was chaired by Buche Khiamniungan, president, NUSU (L) who welcomed everyone to the meeting.
During the meeting, the student union representatives from all the four campuses appraised the VC about various grievances faced by their student communities. The VC heard these grievances and promised to help the students.
Altogether there were 20 representatives of students bodies from all the four campus. A vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Abemo, registrar, Nagaland University.
