Nagaland UNPG/NNC merges with GPRN/NSCN

DIMAPUR, NOV 26 (NPN)

UNPG/NNC announced that its government headed by Kiviho Zhimomi has been officially dissolved with effect from November 25, 2025.
In a press release, ato kilonser Tsaliba T. Sangtam stated that the decision was taken by the ato kilonser, kilo kilonser and all cabinet members of both the civil and Naga army wings with the objective of amalgamating all Nagas and working towards an honourable and speedy solution in line with the aspirations of the Naga people. According to the release, the president and Tsaliba T. Sangtam have unanimously resolved to join and extend full affirmation and support to GPRN/NSCN government. The decision, it said, was aimed at expediting an early Naga solution under the leadership of ‘maj.’ (Retd.) R.M. Lotha, president, GPRN/NSCN, and N. Kitovi Zhimomi, ato kilonser GPRN/NSCN and convener of the Working Committee (WC) of NNPGs.
The release stated that Kitovi is spearheading negotiations with the Government of India on behalf of the Nagas to bring the long-standing Indo-Naga political issue to a logical conclusion.
