Nagaland: VP Radhakrishnan to attend NU convocation

DIMAPUR, MAR 4 (NPN)

Vice President of India, C. P. Radhakrishnan, will arrive in Nagaland on a one-day visit on March 6, 2026.
According to official sources, he is scheduled to attend the 8th convocation ceremony of Nagaland University to be held on March 6 and depart the same day for Mizoram. He is also scheduled to attend the convocations of Mizoram University and Tripura University on March 7 and 8.
Traffic advisory: Dimapur police have issued traffic advisory for March 6, 2026 in the interest of public safety and security.
Police informed that “no parking” would be permitted along the stretch of National Highway from Airport Junction (3rd Mile) to Chümoukedima from 6 am to 3 pm on March 6. Police stated that vehicles would be allowed to park only on one side of the road from 4th Mile (Central Jail Junction) up to Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research.
Police have requested all citizens to extend their cooperation and adhere strictly to the advisory.
