Nagaland Water supply to Kohima disrupted

DIMAPUR, OCT 24 (NPN)

Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) has informed the public within Kohima municipal jurisdiction that water supply has been temporarily disrupted due to emergency mainline repair works following a landslide at Jotsoma village and ongoing developmental works at Phoolbari near PHED service reservoir as well as damage to the mainline at Phesama village caused by sinking.
In a statement, PHED Kohima urban division SDO, Er. Ahito K Awomi, stated that the department was actively working with the district administration for necessary redressal at the earliest. Requesting the consumers to bear with the inconveniences, the department stated that water supply was expected to resume by October 27, 2025.
