Nagaland: WAYO to host 62nd Wrestling Meet on February 6 in Kohima

KOHIMA, JAN 25 (NPN)

The Western Angami Youth Organisation (WAYO) has announced that its 62nd Wrestling Meet will be held on February 6 at Khouchiezhie, Kohima local ground.
Commissioner and Secretary to the Government of Nagaland, Kovi Meyase, will grace the occasion as special guest, while president of the Western Angami Public Organisation (WAPO), Theyievilie Suohumvü, will attend as guest of honour.
For the senior category, prizes will be sponsored by Kekhrievor Kevichusa (First Prize), Andeep Modi (Second Prize), Khotso Rürhie (Third Prize), Neinguvotuo Krose (Fourth Prize), and Melie Nakhro (Losing quarter finalists).
In the under-15 category, sponsors include Kekhrielhoukho Sano (First Prize), Viralhou Sechü (Second Prize), Ketoulhoukho Kuotsu (Third Prize), and Mego Seyie (Fourth Prize).
The patrons for the meet are Ketholelie Terhüja, Megolhou Dolie, Kedozokho Peseyie, Dievizo Nagi, Vikedosie Kruse, Rüüngutuo Sechü, Rovilhousie Miasalhou and Rajuselie Lhousa.
Mhieserietuo Punyu will officiate as match commissioner, with Seyielhoukho Sechü serving as chief referee. Other referees and field judges include Megorietuo Chase, Mhiesilie Rhitso, Khrietuolie Usou, Amos Kikhi, Kekhrie Yhoshü, Mozolie Semou and Neikho Kire.
The Jury Board will comprise Vilietuo Miasalhou, Thekruzoto Gwirie, Ketoulhoukho Kuotsu, Megozokho Hesielie and Rokovitso Whiso.
