The Working Committee, Naga National Political Groups (WC, NNPGs) has announced that despite best efforts to resolve the “personal and administrative differences” between NSCN/GPRN (Reformation) president Akato Chophi and ato kilonser K. Michael, all reconciliation attempts have proved unsuccessful.
In a declaration, WC said that given the crucial stage of the Indo-Naga political process, the committee had taken a considered position that since both leaders had pledged unflinching support and cooperation towards WC, NNPG’s demand for an early, honourable and acceptable solution based on negotiated political and administrative contents, they would continue as equal stakeholders within the WC, NNPGs fold.
In light of the development, WC resolved to accept the NSCN/GPRN led by ato kilonser K. Michael as the tenth affiliate under the convenorship of N. Kitovi Zhimomi.
Nagaland: WC, NNPGs accepts Michael-led NSCN/GPRN as 10th affiliate
