The Western Sümi Hoho (WSH) has strongly condemned the brutal murder of a 22-year-old girl on October 25 in Kohima, describing it as a “grave crime against humanity” that has deeply shaken the community.
In a statement, WSH expressed anguish and outrage over the senseless act, calling for swift and uncompromising justice. “No leniency should be shown for such a cold-blooded crime,” it stated.
The Hoho also appreciated the prompt and effective action of the Nagaland Police and investigating authorities in apprehending the accused, commending their continued resolve in ensuring justice.
WSH further extended its solidarity with the bereaved family during this time of immense loss and assured its full support in the pursuit of justice. It also urged citizens to remain united and cooperate with the authorities until justice is fully delivered.
