Nagaland: Western Tizu Area Welfare Union organises Lushelu programme

DIMAPUR

Western Tizu Area Welfare Union organised a Lushelu programme at the residence of Zhopra Vero, ‘A’ Khel, Toulazouma. The programme was graced by Kuzholuzo Nienu, MLA, and his lady wife.
In his address, Nienu highlighted the importance of unity among the people and encouraged the gathering to learn from and follow the positive examples set by other tribes.
Short speeches were also delivered by Ariyi Nienu, and Kedahge, NNC/FGN, Zhopra Vero, who shared their thoughts on social harmony and collective responsibility.
The programme was attended by Ato Kilonser, GPRN/NSCN (U), Alezo Venuh, chairperson, Phek Town Council, Shevohu Nienu, former CPO president, Sovenyi Nyekha along with representatives from ten villages.
Earlier, the programme was chaired by Cekrosuyi Nienu, while the chairman’s note was delivered by Shelepa Rhakho. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Arayi Swutha.
