Nagaland WGC gets new sports faculties

The newly constructed open auditorium and basketball-cum-badminton court at Wangkhao Government College (WGC), Mon, was inaugurated on November 29.
Wennyei Konyak, Deputy Commissioner of Mon and chairman of the College Advisory Board, unveiled the facilities in the presence of faculty members, students, alumni, and well-wishers.
Speaking on the occasion, Wennyei commended the college for its vision to strengthen co-curricular and extracurricular opportunities, emphasizing that such spaces foster creativity, sportsmanship, leadership, and community engagement. The open auditorium was constructed through the college development fund and crowd-funding initiatives spearheaded by Wennyei Konyak.
Dr. Tialila, principal of WGC, expressed gratitude to the DC and all well-wishers for their support. “The new facilities will greatly enrich student life on campus and reinforce our vision of Transforming Lives through Learning, fostering a holistic learning environment,” the principal said.
