Nagaland Winter Expedition 2023 flag off

A total of 30 off-roaders from across the country drove through Dimapur, Chumoukedima, Niuland, and Wokha on day one of the Nagaland Winter Expedition 2023 on December 28.


The off-roaders crossed the river at the mouth of the biggest river in Nagaland, river Doyang, in Liphayan. The first day involved a mix of challenge of slush and dust as the off-roaders drove across the foothill road.


The off roaders shared their camaraderie with a tea break at Lithanro at Sanis on the way to Wokha for the night stay at Hammock Resort.
The Nagaland Winter Expedition 2023 was flagged off by president Association Of Off-roaders Nagaland, Kenzeu Lungalang at CT Square, 7th Mile Chumoukedima on December 27.


The Winter Expedition 2023 is scheduled to cover 12 districts of Nagaland in a span of nine days, through the toughest terrains and creeks and reach the eastern most border of India Myanmar boundary, the first of its kind covering the length and breadth of Nagaland.
A total of 24 cars from outside Nagaland (Thar Bengaluru Club) with participants from all over India and six back up vehicles from the host side will be taking part in the Winter Expedition 2023. Service back up would be provided by the host.


The expedition will be covering Niuland, Sanis under Wokha district; Mokokchung; Longwa under Mon district; Zunheboto; Tuophema under Kohima district; Pfutsero, Phek district; Benreu, Peren district during the nine days event which will also include trail drives in between.
Yanrenthung Jamio from 4×4 Attitude Expedition assured that the Winter Expedition 2023 promises to be an extraordinary showcase of adventure, exploration and cultural immersion which will promote chief minister’s vision of making Nagaland the off-road capital of the world.
