The Western Losami Welfare Union (WLWU) celebrated the inauguration of its new building at Tenyiphe-E Khel, Chümoukedima on November 16, with Zechete Mekrisuh, chairman of the Losami Village Council, as the inaugural guest.
The program began with a dedicatory prayer led by Kesowe Mekrisuh, pastor of Losami Baptist Church, followed by the unveiling of the inauguration monolith by the inaugural guest.
In his address, Zechete Mekrisuh congratulated the union for its dedication to the welfare of the Losami community and urged the members to foster unity, cooperate in social activities, and be positive role models.
Short speeches were also shared by the VDB secretary of Losami Village, representatives from Losami Union Kohima, and Losatephe Village Council.
