Nagaland: WSHPD conducts 34th pre-Christmas celebration cum medical camp event

The Welfare Society for Handicapped People, Dimapur (WSHPD) conducted its 34th Pre-Christmas Celebration cum medical camp, here Sunday, at Dimapur NF Railway station front parking lot.
The Pre-Christmas celebration was organized to bring joy, hope, and holistic care to differently-abled individuals during this festive season and featuref heartwarming activity and entertainment programmes.
A free medical camp was also conducted simultaneously by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to provide essential medical consultations and checkups for the attendees.
For the free medical camp, ten students from the North East Christian University (NECU) nursing college, doctors from Peren district hospital, namely; Dr Bano, Dr Aoyanger and Dr Tennok, and a team of doctors from District Hospital Dimapur conducted the free medical camp.
The exhortation was delivered by WSHPD founder reverend JB Gurung, a short speech was delivered by Zubeno, mission to the blind and message was delivered by Grace, invocation prayer by Lessing, testimony by Kiheto and Daniel Chetri, Hindi songs by Sonali and Gracelyh, group song was presented by Vikili and students , special song by Nitsino Meyase and Sara Angami, Nagamese song by Phulumli and Yanguthvi and scripture reading by Chingtang.
Later, the event concluded with a mass prayer and Christmas feast.
