DIMAPUR

Yongshei Village Baptist Church, Longleng, celebrated its Platinum Jubilee from December 19 to 21, 2025, on the theme “Thus Far The Lord Has Helped Us.”
According to DIPR report, marking the 75th anniversary, the Platinum Jubilee Monolith was unveiled and dedicated by N. Tialemba Phom, executive secretary, Phom Baptist Christian Association (PBCA). The inscription on the stone read: “How great are His signs, how mighty His wonders! His Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation” (Daniel 4:3).
The celebration, held at the Platinum Jubilee Hall, Yongshei (Büshok) site, was attended by the Yongshei community, delegates from Phom churches, guests from other tribes, relatives and well-wishers. The programme commenced with the hall opening ceremony, followed by the screening of a documentary on the advent of Christianity in Yongshei village.

Nuklu Phom, chairman and Team Leader, Lemsachenlok Longleng; and M. Moishen Buchem, literature secretary, PBCA. Delivering God’s message, N. The three-day celebration culminated under the leadership of Jubilee Planning Committee chairman H. Yongko, with Associate Pastor L. Yemsho of Yongshei Baptist Attoi, and concluded with a closing prayer. A special Talent Expo by Dreamz Unlimited, Nagaland, added colour and vibrancy to the jubilee.
