Nagaland youth take part in inter-state exchange at Haryana

A team from Nagaland joined the Inter-State Youth Exchange Programme held at Kurukshetra University, Haryana, from July 23 to 25.
Organised under “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” initiative by the Government of India, the programme aimed to promote cultural exchange and national integration among states and union territories.
The Nagaland contingent consisted of 23 youth and one teacher guide from Baptist College, Kohima. They showcased traditional songs and dances during the event.
Youth resource officer and nodal officer from the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Viruokuo Zumu, said the three-day programme was marked by vibrant cultural exchanges between participating communities.
The programme sought to foster unity in diversity and strengthen emotional bonds among youth from various regions of the country.
